PJ 26 Predictor Map

By Tom on 2020-04-06 UT

I am submitting the following predictor map which is an estimation of where cloud features will be by the time Juno

flies over the PJ26 longitudes.   This is based on amateur observations by C. Go, N. MacNeill, C. Foster and others made

between March 29 through April 6.   There is some uncertainty based on the mean date forward projected from (April 4),

but it gives us an idea of the region Juno will be flying over...

As part of the PJ26 report, this ZIP file contains seven animations of JunoCam maps (Four pairs of maps covering the S. Temperate domain, one of the S4 domain, a triplet of south polar maps, and a blink showing the shadow of an inner satellite on the EZ).  Ground-based context for all the atmospheric features is given in our BAA 2020 Reports nos.2 & 3, at:  https://www.britastro.org/node/20872

Here is a report on the PJ26 images, in our usual style.  The text is posted as a PDF.  The following 'comments' will upload the figures and animations.  --John Rogers.
